Animatic story board
Link: Animatic storyboard - let it burn
I wrote and produced the song when I was in secondary school, and now I am making a music video, for my media project in college. So I am going to make the video for my song. This is the animate storyboard of my ideas for the song.

Animated wolf design
I designed the wolf to have long hair so that it is similar to the actress of the music video. But their hair style don't match completely, this is so that the wolf and the actress will be seen as two different characters even though they are one of the same. Also he is standing proudly, this fits with the stereotype of the Goths, as they always stand on their or in small groups, and don't cared what people think of them.
He will be black and dark blue in colour, and he will have blue eyes. This is so that he fits with the genre and so that he will look like the actress. He is also wearing two necklaces that are very similar to the two that the actress will wear, this is so that there is more connecting them together then their movement and the first scene of the music video.
Wolf design concept
In the video, the animated wolf is representing the personality of the girl so the main features will be the same:
- They both wear two neckless (one choker, one long neckless)
- They will both use the same colours
- Wolf's fur round head is styled and coloured to be like actress hair
Throughout the video they both have the same sort of actions to help show the viewers the beep connection between the girl and the wolf. Also in the video, in some of of the shots both the girl and the wolf are together; this for the viewers confirms that the wolf is a part of the girl (her personality).
there will be a selection of shots used on both the wolf and the girl, this will give them individually even though they are shown to be one of the same. This will make them their own charactor in the video, and this allows the viewer to have a different view and opinion of both the girl and wolf.
with the actress being real and the wolf being animated, a whole different slant is put on the meaning of the song. The meaning that the song first had, is that the girl is annoyed about something that means a lot to her and she wants everyone to pay for it. But the new slant suggests that she don't want them to pay through being in pain or dying, but more like they just need to watch her succeed in what they told her she couldn't do. making the words of the song, such as 'burn' have a more metaphorical sense, to them.
