Draft 3 - magazine advert
I have already said about changing the digipak front cover, but I will
also add to the text on the magazine advert to make the page look more like an
advert. Also I will change the colour of some of the text to add interest, and
to highlight key information for the audience, but this will also break up the
text making it look more professional.

Draft 3 - Digipak
I’m going to change the image on the front of the digipak because it doesn’t
have a link to the rest of the course work that I have been designing and making.
So I will follow the idea that I had for second draft of the inside page, the
link to the rest of my work could be more symbolic, but this will also help my
digipak look professional as it is almost finished to a high standard. I’ll be looking at changing the artist name and the album name to try
and make them easier to read and more interesting for the audience.
I’m very happy with the way that the disk looks, but the album and
artist name might be changed across the digipak to make it easier to read and
more interesting.

Digipak - title chosen
This is the five fonts that I was looking at using, but there is only really three that I think would suit the digipak, those three fonts are Kingdom Heart, Northwood High, and Fairy Dust B. Most of the text on the digipak would be white or a strong symbolic colour for the Goths (so colours like black or red).

Digipak - chosen pictures
I’ve decided to use a picture
that has a symbolic link to the music video, because this would be more effective
than copying most other digipaks by have pictures of the band on the font. But I
also don’t want the image doesn’t link to the artist directly, it links to the
wolf which then links to the artist, but this link is only seen in the music
video. But I don’t know what picture I am going to use yet.
This is the picture that I am going to use as a background of the
digipak. I am going to use this old faded paper as it in keeps with the style the
Goths like. But also I will change the colour to create interest. But also it will
fit the colour scheme better.
For the back of the digipak I will combine these two pictures, the
resulting image will then be a base for the text. This will make the text
easier to read for the audience and it will add interest. But that isn’t all;
this will also link the digipak together with the theme of old faded paper.
This will be the background image for the disk. This will link with the
old faded paper theme of the digipak, but using the different images of paper
creates interest and stops the digipak from being seen as boring.
This image is going to be on the inside page of the digipak to reinforce
the symbolic link between the digipak and the wolf of the music video.
